How lovely, as lovely as the eyes of the delicious winemakers. Le donne del Vini, how we love them, well obviously it’s the wines really. Lovely clean friendly wine, but the five grape combination is no chance thing, it allows for a really interesting and quite vibrant array of floral and fruit flavours. Delightful, can do any grilled food or anti pasti.

The Custodi Estate spans over 70 hectares and is situated on the hills of Orvieto, which are known for their fertile lands. 37 of these hectares are dedicated to the cultivation of wine, half of which are DOC grapes used for Orvieto Classico,  for Sangiovese, amongst others. The winery itself was built in 2003, facing the cathedral of Orvieto, and they offer lovely tours of the vinyards and winery.
